The US Department of Health & Human Services has updated the Federal Poverty Level for 2019, effective Jan. 11. This information is usually published in the Federal Register by the end of January each year, but the website has a small disclaimer “Federal Register notice forthcoming. Publication is delayed due to temporary closure of federal offices.”
Poverty guidelines are one way government programs, as well as non government programs, determine financial eligibility.
