The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for the Seattle area from Thursday afternoon through Saturday evening with temperatures potentially reaching into the mid 90s. Sensitive groups like the elderly and those working or exercising outdoors may experience adverse health effects such as dehydration or heat-related illness.
